Humareso is excited to lead the search on behalf of TerraCycle for their new Compensation & Benefits Specialist. This is a full-time, direct hire permanent position recently created to support TerraCycle's growing global operations.

It partners with many of the world’s largest consumer product companies and retailers to create collection and recycling solutions for hundreds of traditionally non-recyclable waste streams. By working with companies, retailers, governments, and consumers, TerraCycle is able to collect and solve for just about every waste stream, from snack wrappers and contact lenses to ocean plastics and cigarette butts, all waste streams that otherwise end up in landfills, oceans, or incinerators. TerraCycle has received hundreds of awards globally, and has been highlighted in some of the world's most recognized media outlets, including CNN, Wall St. Journal, Reuters.com New York Times, Forbes and thousands of others.

In 2019, TerraCycle launched Loop, a global reuse system that enables brands, retailers and consumers to transition from single-use disposable materials to reusable, durable packaging. Loop has engaged many of the world's largest consumer product companies (including P&G, Nestlé, Unilever, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, and Mondelez) and many of the world’s largest retailers in this platform. Loop is available in the U.S, France, Canada, Japan, the UK and will be in Australia early next year.


The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will oversee the company’s compensation and benefits globally, working closely with the HR VP and Senior Director, CFO, and GM’s and senior leadership to standardize the strategy as well as improve current policies and processes.

The primary responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Direct the HQ payroll process and run bi-weekly payroll
  • Spearhead HRIS utilization globally for data tracking and communications management
  • Engineer analyses of salary review and incentive compensation for budgeting and planning
  • Maintain salary and benefits analyses globally to verify pay bands by market for business size
  • Mastermind recommendations for comp and benefits changes based on data analysis and trends
  • Administer global annual salary review process and incentive compensation payout
  • Manage benefits vendor relationships and RFP process for benefits vendors


  • Experienced at developing analyses and data-driven recommendations for senior management
  • Working knowledge of compensation and benefits on a global scale
  • 5 - 7 years of leading compensation and benefits administration
  • Proven diligence and integrity in handling confidential information
  • Superior organizational skills including strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Apps, and HRIS software
  • Creative and innovative problem solver
  • Ability to work independently and self-directed as well as collaborate cross-functionally
